Yacht chartering in a nutshell
Planning your vacations on a sailing boat is as easy as booking a hotel room. Whether you are an experienced sailor or new to this kind of leisure, there is always a solution to meet your needs.
Our yachts can be chartered with the following options:
A. Bareboat: In this case, you charter the boat alone, without any professional crew and you sail it by yourself. You should be a competent yachtsman, with experience in coastal navigation, passage planning and previous experience in handling a yacht of similar size to the one you intend to charter. You will need to prove your competence with a sailing certificate. Also, at least another person of your crew should have similar sailing experience. If he/she does not carry a certificate, he/she will be asked to sign a relative statement.
B. Skippered: This option includes a professional skipper, who is responsible for sailing and managing the boat for the duration of the cruise. This is obligatory if you and your party do not have the required sailing experience in handling a sailing yacht. Even if you have some sailing experience, you may still require the services of a professional skipper. We strongly recommend this to our clients so as to insure that their cruise is carefree and relaxing and that hey benefit from the skipper's knowledge of local conditions.
C. Crewed: This option applies to yachts over 50' and includes a crew of both a skipper and a hostess/cook, insuring maximum comfort and relaxation for you and your party.
